Our COVID-19 Response

Applied Avionics is closely monitoring information from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) as well as federal, state, and local officials in response to the COVID-19 (“coronavirus”) outbreak.

Our employee’s health and wellness are of the utmost importance as we respond to the coronavirus outbreak. We have implemented the recommended procedures to help maintain a safe environment for our employees in accordance with the published guidelines.

Our plant in Fort Worth, Texas, is open and operating. While we expect that employee attendance may be impacted during this period, we anticipate being able to adjust our manufacturing plan in order to meet customer requirements. Of course, we will comply with all local, state, and federal requirements concerning COVID-19 and our facility.

All non-essential visits to our facility from outside suppliers and customers have been postponed until further notice. We have eliminated all business travel for the time being to reduce the possibility of introducing coronavirus into our facility.

As a regular business practice, we maintain a prudent level of raw material and sub-assembly inventory that allow us to meet customer demands and allows us to withstand moderate interruptions in our supply chain. As of now, we are not aware of any issues in our supplier base that would materially impact our ability to meet customer orders.

Our standard lead time for product delivery to our customers is currently unchanged at between 2 and 4 weeks after receipt of order.

We will continue to monitor developments to this situation and will adjust our plans according to the best information available.
